Under-7 / Under-8 / Under-9 / Under-10 levels.

Templeogue Utd. Win Polikoff Cup

Templeogue Utd. Senior Team (right) celebrate their brilliant win in the O'Neill's Polikoff Cup, after beating Lucan Utd. 2-1 with a last minute goal in extra time by Mick Murphy.

After falling behind early in the second half, Templeogue Utd. forced three corners in quick succession, the third one producing an equaliser. Sean Ward floated in the ball and Mick Murphy flicked it on into the path of Carl Mooney who stuck it away from six-yards out.

Then, in the final minute, the big defender came in at the far post to meet Gary Corcoran's delivery with a powerful header that he directed low beyond the reach of the helpless Lucan goalkeeper.
